We buy great businesses. We keep them forever.

Kordel Holdings is a private holding company — not a fund. No exit clock, no investment committee, no flip. We give retiring owners a permanent home for the company they built.

How we think

Built on a thirty-year horizon.

America's most durable businesses were built by a generation of owners who are now retiring. Most of those companies are too small for private equity and too valuable to wind down. We're the third path.

Permanence

We buy businesses to keep them. No repackaging for the next buyer — there is no next buyer.

Stewardship

What we acquire already works. We preserve the name, the crew, and the standards — and add only what helps.

Boring is beautiful

Essential, unglamorous companies with decades of history and demand that ignores the news cycle.

Conservative by design

Prudent financing, real reserves. We never risk a company's obligations to its people for growth.

What we buy

Generalists, with a bias toward the essential.

Enterprise value: $500K – $5M

For business owners

Selling your company is a succession decision — not a transaction.

What to send for a first look

  1. Last three years of business tax returns
  2. Trailing twelve-month P&L and balance sheet
  3. Revenue breakdown by type of work
  4. Employee count, roles, and license status
  5. Your expectations on price and timing, if formed

Founder

S

Operator-led. Principal-run.

Kordel Holdings is led by founder and managing principal Samuel Pong. Samuel began his career in commercial real estate research at Moody's Analytics, analyzing leasing activity, sales comparables, and development pipelines for institutional investors — then left the desk to become an operator, running his family's high-volume logistics and services business in Brooklyn, New York.

That combination — institutional underwriting discipline and hands-on Main Street operating experience — is the lens Kordel brings to every acquisition. Kordel invests its own capital, and Samuel is the direct counterparty on every transaction.
